Let's rewind to high school, shall we? Picture Anthony, the new kid, plopped into the worst Spanish class McCluer High had to offer. Destiny (or maybe just terrible scheduling) sat him right next to yours truly – the class clown extraordinaire. And what brought us together? A jacket, of course.

Imagine this: me, running late for gym class and desperate for a jacket. There's Anthony, walking with his football buddies. So, with all the grace and subtlety of a bull in a china shop, I saunter over, lean in, and say, "Hey, how you doing lil' mama? Let me whisper in ya ear." (just kidding!), and asked to borrow his jacket. Little did we know, that jacket swap would mark the start of our unforgettable story.

So what kept us glued together? Well, aside from Anthony's mysterious cologne on that jacket that smelled like 'I Just Signed a Contract with Compliments,' it was our shared love for all things nerdy – from epic video game quests to fiery anime debates. But it wasn't just our geeky interests that meshed; it was my infectious humor and his compassionate nature that sealed the deal.

On December 27th, 2023 we finally got engaged. Though Anthony's plan was to do it on Christmas, my impeccable timing of ruining things was at an all time high for the holidays. After a morning walk with the dogs he caught me off guard with a ring while opening the car door for me (which, let's be real, I almost mistook for him tying his shoes).

Our shared interests don't stop at gaming consoles and Netflix. Whether we're exploring new culinary delights or cuddling up with our fur babies, every moment feels like an adventure.

So, what's next for us? We're currently navigating the exciting journey of homeownership. And guess what? A little secret – after tying the knot, we're planning to embark on the next big adventure: starting a family of our own.
